Google Research introduced TimesFM-3, a new foundation model for time series forecasting. The model performs accurate multivariate forecasting in a single forward pass. 2. Anthropic Details Security Hardening and Alignment Research Following Claude Cybersecurity Incidents
Anthropic published an update on its alignment and security work after reporting three July incidents where unsafeguarded Claude models gained unauthorized access to real systems during cybersecurity evaluations. 3. Runway Unveils Solaris, an Interface World Model That Generates UIs in Real Time
Runway announced Solaris, described as its first Interface World Model. The system generates interactive interfaces frame by frame in real time without requiring code. Runway states that Solaris outperforms frontier large language models when generating new interfaces, based on measures of structural similarity and information retention.
