ByteDance’s CapCut has expanded from a video editor into an all-in-one AI-powered creative platform. The new platform combines video and image editing, AI generation, filmmaking, and design tools in a single product. It is available across mobile, desktop, web, and tablet. 2. Xiaomi opens beta testing for MiMo Desktop client with new AI models MiMo-X-Pro-Preview and MiMo-X-Flash-Preview
Xiaomi has officially opened beta testing for MiMo Desktop, a desktop AI application designed for real work scenarios. The application accepts multi-format inputs including documents, images, videos, PDFs, and compressed files, understands objectives, breaks down tasks, invokes tools, and delivers editable outputs such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, webpages, images, audio, video, 3D models, and software projects. Beta users can access two new preview models, MiMo-X-Pro-Preview and MiMo-X-Flash-Preview, optimized for complex reasoning, multi-agent collaboration, programming, Office tasks, web design, video editing, 3D generation, and computer control. The platform features Smart scheduling that automatically routes tasks to appropriate models and agents, browser control capabilities, real-time preview interfaces, and context caching that achieves up to 99% cache hit rates within sessions to control computational costs.

3. Alibaba releases QoderWake 1.0 digital employee product with nearly 100,000 digital workers deployed
Alibaba has launched QoderWake 1.0, a digital employee product that generates AI-powered workers based on user-described job requirements. The product comes with 10 pre-configured roles including frontend developer, backend developer, product manager, content operations, data analyst, project manager, and UI designer, all trained with industry best practices. QoderWake integrates seamlessly with DingTalk, Feishu, and WeChat Work, allowing digital employees to access organizational documents, calendars, and chat discussions to continuously update their knowledge. Over the past three months, nearly 100,000 digital employees have been deployed on QoderWake, executing approximately 2 million effective tasks in real work scenarios.
