1. OpenAI launches Daybreak cybersecurity initiative combining AI models and Codex for vulnerability detection
OpenAI announced Daybreak, a cybersecurity initiative that combines its AI models including GPT-5.5 with Codex Security to help companies identify software vulnerabilities and accelerate cyber defense. The platform enables secure code review, threat modeling, patch validation, and automated monitoring of higher-risk vulnerabilities. Daybreak offers three model variants including GPT-5.5-Cyber for specialized workflows and works with security partners to integrate defensive capabilities into software development cycles. 3. Anthropic launches Agent View for Claude Code as research preview
Anthropic released Agent View for Claude Code, a new research preview feature that provides developers with a unified list of all their coding sessions. The feature works as a session roster inside the CLI, showing each Claude Code session’s current state, last activity, and whether it is working, waiting for input, completed, failed, idle, or stopped. Agent View is available for Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise, and Claude API plans, allowing developers to manage parallel coding sessions from a single command-line dashboard instead of keeping multiple terminal tabs or tmux panes open.
