1. OpenAI Launches GPT-5.6 Model Family: Sol, Terra, and Luna in ChatGPT, Codex, and API
OpenAI has begun rolling out its GPT-5.6 model family — Sol, Terra, and Luna — in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API. Sol is the flagship model designed for the hardest problems such as complex coding and security research; Terra is a balanced model for high-volume business tasks that is 2x cheaper than GPT-5.5 with competitive performance; and Luna is the fastest and most cost-efficient option for everyday work. The release follows regulatory clearance from the U.S. Department of Commerce and was previewed with the U.S. government ahead of launch. GPT-5.6 Sol also launches with OpenAI’s most robust safety stack to date, featuring strengthened protections for higher-risk activity and sensitive cyber requests.

2. Anthropic Launches Claude Reflect Dashboard with Monthly Usage Recap and Wellbeing Controls
Anthropic has introduced Reflect, a new dashboard accessible in Claude’s Settings, designed to help users understand their usage patterns. The monthly recap feature shows users their most active days and peak hours, the topics they spent time on, and personalized observations about how they work with Claude. Users can also set quiet hours and enable nudges to take breaks directly from the dashboard. The feature is currently in beta and available on Free, Pro, and Max plans on Claude web and Claude Desktop, with memory required to be enabled.

3. OpenClaw adds support for xAI Grok 4.5 via X Premium and SuperGrok subscriptions
OpenClaw has added support for xAI’s Grok 4.5 model, allowing users to access it without any app update. Users can connect an existing X Premium or SuperGrok subscription, select Grok 4.5 under the xAI provider in OpenClaw, and use the model for agentic tasks. xAI positions Grok 4.5 as an Opus-class model that is fast and low-cost. The integration expands the range of frontier models accessible through OpenClaw’s platform.
